The use of the plastic wire is suggested to hold the vine shoots. From the practical point of view it is perfect as thanks to its flexibility can be lowered and consequently raised again in a very easy way. It has a 25 years guaranteed duration and it has a quite good breaking load. The unique disadvantage is due to the risk of being cut during the grape-harvest and/or the grape pruning; furthermore the abrasive parts of the supports can cut the wire.
